Beneficiaries of our programmes are transparently selected, through crowdsourcing and public or institutional referrals.

Our Foundation has six flagship programmes:

PETER ADEGOKE SCHOLARS

Our scholars are individuals, 3-18 years old, who are unable to attain education because of financial constraints. They are selected on compassionate grounds through referrals from partner communities or institutions. The main criterion is economic status and PAF will play the role of “funder of last resort”.

PETER ADEGOKE STUDENT FELLOWS

Fellows are high achieving, high potential students who are financially constrained. The Foundation is particularly interested in funding their education because of their capacity to use their abilities to break the cycle of poverty & the challenges of leadership in Nigeria. Application for the Fellowship is open, facilitated by technology and based on educational achievement (and other evidence of exceptional quality or character). Candidates are required to pass the Foundation’s proprietary online aptitude tests, in order to be shortlisted for interviews. They are then sponsored to schools noted for developing achievement and are assigned mentors. These mentors will provide life coaching and help the Fellows to attain further scholarships or opportunities locally & internationally.

PETER ADEGOKE TECHNOLOGY FELLOWS

Individuals working on groundbreaking technology or media based educational interventions will be granted fellowships and incubation opportunities. Fellows will be identified through hackathons and demo days to ensure their ideas have economic and social potential. In some cases, Peter Adegoke Foundation’s partners may become equity investors.

PETER ADEGOKE RESEARCH FELLOWS

Individuals and institutions conducting innovative educational studies will be supported. The Foundation will also support individuals working with government to implement radical educational initiatives or individuals focused on educational reforms.

PETER ADEGOKE EDUCATION REPORT

Every year, Peter Adegoke Foundation will produce a report on education innovation in Nigeria. The report will be driven by the Foundation’s Research Fellows. It will help to highlight revolutionary models for advancements in education.

PETER ADEGOKE VOCATION INNOVATION PRIZE

A highlight of the Foundation’s activities is its Annual Fellows Project. Every year, all Fellows will collaborate to pitch innovative models for community education (with a special emphasis on vocational training). The winning team will receive funds to build a scalable vocational school in a Nigerian community of their choice. There is an option of additional funding if schools meet pre-agreed impact goals.
